Traveling the world, photographers will find many beautiful lands, but few compare to the wild unique beauty around Jackson Hole, Wyoming and The Grand Tetons.  You will be shown some secret locations to shoot the Grand Tetons from locations very few know exist. You will also have multiple opportunities to photograph the parks abundant wildlife. This Photo Adventure will not only increase your portfolio of images, but will advance your learning process by years.

Our goal is teach our student first how to see the photo before shooting it and second how to tell a story with a series of photos. How we do this is really fun and unique to our adventures. First Kevin will show you how he approaches the decision of what to shoot and then how to shoot it. He will reveal many of his time tested techniques that have set him apart from his competition. Second, Kevin is an award winning Photo Editor, the former Photography Editor for Texas Highways Magazine. Kevin fell in love with helping photographers shoot the best photos they could for the magazine through collaboration and direction for his photographers. So, Kevin will bring those same skills to our adventures. Each student will be given both broad and specific assignments to shoot during the adventure. Throughout the process, each photographer will work closely with Kevin. In the end everyones work will be edited by Kevin and printed in our in-house non-profit magazine, National Photographic Magazine. Each photographer will receive several copies once printed and later as a former student you will receive a copy of our high quality perfect bound magazine each time we print it. We want you to experience in real time what professionals go through on real assignments for real magazines. There is nothing cooler than seeing you work in print. Kevin will also reveal some of his secrets for getting in the door of most magazines. Finally, Kevin sends these magazine out to his list of magazine photo editors as a way to give his students some professional exposure with those who are always looking for new talent!!!

TESTIMONIALS

"I try to attend professional workshops and photo adventures 1-2 times a year, given by proven professionals on location in areas ideal for the focus of that particular trek.  I find myself coming back to Kevin over and over.  Kevin's background as both a professional photographer and magazine photo editor gives him both the knowledge of how to make the shot as well as what editors look for in selecting photos for their publication." - George Gilchrist

"When I look for a great photo trip, I always end up joining one of the adventures at National Photographic Adventures. Kevin does an amazing job and I love seeing my shots in their magazine!"-Kaitlin Lowe
